eSIM Thailand

After you buy an eSIM online, it will appear in your profile in the Kaspersky eSIM Store app and on the website within seconds. Tap “Install” and follow the on-screen instructions. You’ll also receive a confirmation email with a QR code to activate your virtual SIM card.

Yes, it does. Your eSIM, or digital SIM card, provides data only. It doesn’t include a phone number, so regular calls and texts aren’t supported, but you can chat and call via messengers (using your account that has been previously registrated for your home operator telephone number).

After you buy your eSIM for travel, your data usage will be displayed in your profile, accessible both on the website and in the eSIM app. From there, you can check remaining traffic data and easily purchase additional eSIM data plans for the same country or new destinations.

Yes, if your device supports tethering, you can share your eSIM data plan within the limits of your selected package.

You simply need to configure your device so that mobile data is used from the eSIM instead of your regular SIM card, following the instructions for eSIM installation. This helps you avoid roaming charges from your home operator. For some devices you might need to switch on roaming for eSIM (there are no additional charges, it just works within the data plan that you have chosen).

No. Kaspersky eSIM Store service has no subscription fees or hidden costs. You only pay for the prepaid data plan you choose.

Your eSIM data plan becomes active immediately after purchase, but data consumption starts only when you get connected to local networks upon arrival to a chosen destination. If you have an expiring data plan and your trip starts later, choose a “scheduled activation” at checkout or a non-expiring data plan.

No, it’s not. The eSIM technology doesn’t allow transferring or sharing your digital SIM card with another device. Each activation code is unique and can only be used once on its assigned device.
